LID Instructors and Staff

Dr. Boris E. Bravo-Ureta, Director of the LID Program, has been a Professor of Agricultural and Resource Economics for the past 30 years. He served as Executive Director of the Office of International Affairs from July 1998 to August 2008.

Dr. Bravo-Ureta has conducted extensive research on economic development and in recent years has analyzed the economic impact of several large development projects. Over the past 20 years, he has coordinated and conducted training programs on a wide range of topics throughout Latin America and Africa. He has also been a consultant to governments and international organizations on various development projects.
